Ritual Coordinator

There are three Elderflower festival rituals that happen every year.
The Ritual Coordinator helps to find priestesses for the rituals and assists them to coordinate efforts around a basic theme.

  • Opening Ritual - Cleanse the space; call directions; and declare the
         entire campground sacred space for the whole festival
  • Main Ritual - Held Saturday evening, usually focuses on a theme,
         frequently a magical working is central
         often planned collaboratively at the festival
         includes the participation of festival attendees
         has a list of expected elements
  • Closing Ritual - Dismissing the directions and saying goodbye to the
         land and each other until next year.
  • Opening and Closing Priestess is often led by one woman - sometimes it
         might be two women who work closely together to coordinate the two rituals.
  • Main Ritual is usually led by one priestess, or a group/coven of women
