Parking and Security Coordinators

Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for this position.

These two positions can be (and frequently are) combined into one position
  • Parking Coordinator
    • Arrives on Wednesday afternoon
    • Coordinates temporary parking in the lot in front of the Dining Hall and informs people to move cars to a permanent location after unpacking.
    • Lets festival attendees know that they must back into the permanent place, due to Woodlands and State fire regulations
    • Assures that no-one parks on the road due to State Fire regulations. May need to match license numbers with cabin locations to get folks to move vehicles.
  • Security Coordinator
    • Oversees the community volunteers that walk through the campgrounds every night
    • Security volunteers effectively assure that there are no intruders from other campgrounds, and that fires are properly attended and doused by the fire-tender before leaving the fire circle.
    • Important to make sure that every community volunteer starts their round of the camp.
