for a taste of the
2012 Elderflower Womenspirit Festival
at the
Humanist Hall
390 - 27th Street
Oakland, CA.

Please bring a potluck dish to share.
There will be soup available.

Enjoy a day of food, workshops, entertainment,
craftswomen vendors, drumming circle,
building community and an evening ritual.

Admission for the whole day,
including the ritual in the evening is $15.00
Or you may arrive at 4:30 p.m.
for the evening ritual the cost is $10

Workshops Descriptions

Medicine for Women by Max Dashu	She presents a visual potpourri of sacred breastpots from all over the world, plus breastplates, breasted drums, doors, pillars, wall reliefs, votive plaques, megaliths, and figurines. Amazons of various types, from ancient times to intrepid women warriors and Gulabi gangsters of the present. From the Suppressed Histories Archives, now in its 42nd year.
Pysanky Eggs Workshop by Francesca	Learn the Ukrainian art of creating beautiful colorful designs on eggs, using wax resist. The custom of decorating with pysanky was done by the women in the family using the roundest, smoothest fertile eggs laid by the familys' hens the art was observed with the greatest care, and a pysanka, after receiving the Easter blessing, was held to have great powers as a talisman. All supplies, tools, wax, eggs and dye will be provided and participants can decorate their eggs using either a traditional design or their own original creations.
Spirit & Goddess Stones by Tina	Magick is the power to change our consciousness at will. Intention is the energy by which we direct our magick. The intention we craft by our hands is a powerful magick at work. Join us for this creative workshop where we will create spirit or goddess stones to focus our magickal energy. No art or craft skills required. This will be a simple activity where each women will make an altar stone as simple or ornate as you feel compelled to create.
Treasure Maps for Drawing Your Dreams into Your Life by Gentle Bear Priestess and Shaman with over 20 years of study	Creating a Treasure map is to help you bring your dreams into your life. Learn a simple way to co-create reality. Have fun allowing yourself to play. All supplies will be available to you at the workshop.
Unlock Your Inner Wisdom with Soul Cards by Maeryn Please bring paper and/or journal and pen or pencil.	Soul Cards, are a powerful tool for self exploration. Different from traditional Tarot and Oracle cards, the images of the Soul Cards have no preconceived meanings. The messages, insights, and inspiration will be unique to each person and situation. In this interactive workshop, you will learn a variety of techniques for using these cards for individual and group work.

Spring Into Elderflower Ritual
beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Spring into Elderflower will close with a ritual that that emphasizes laughter, joy and the freeing of our wild selves. Priestesses Ardys, Lisa and Artemis will help us shed the dark feelings of winter and fly into a future of renewed energy, creativity and inspiration.
