Support the Elderflower Womenspirit Festival

We conduct fundraising efforts throughout the year, for the following purposes:

1.  To pay the costs of the festival itself.  Each year, we strive to keep our registration fees as low as possible.  Having funds available to pay festival expenses helps us avoid raising fees.

2. The Elderflower Womenspirit Scholarship Fund.  This fund makes it possible for low income women, or women going through a temporary financial crisis, to attend the festival.

3. At times, we raise money for the Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association.  This money is donated in order to make repairs and improvements to the campsite we enjoy every year.  For 2011, our donation will be earmarked for the purpose of building a downhill shower facility, in order to provide easier access to those with mobility issues.

Be an "Elderflower Womenspirit Sister"

Every discount taken reduces the amount of seed money we have available to organize the next year's festival.  You can help by donating your discount(s) back to the festival. If you would like to help in this manner, note this on your registration form.  Your name will be added to a donor acknowledgment list of “Elderflower Womenspirit Sisters” listed on our festival program.

Cash Donations

Women have provided financial assistance to other Elderflower Womenspirit sisters either by a donation to the Scholarship Fund, or by sponsoring another woman.

If you would like to make a cash donation, please send check, money order made out to Elderflower Womenspirit Festival, to our mailing address, listed at the bottom of each page of the web site.  You may also donate through Pay Pal, information for this is below.  If you are making your donation for a specific purpose (i.e., Scholarship Fund or Mendocino Woodlands), please include a note with your donation.

Donation of Goods or Services 

If you would like to donate merchandise to Elderflower Womenspirit for fundraising purposes, you may bring it with you to the festival or to any EWF sponsored event.  Or, please email us to make arrangements for mailing or for an in person delivery.

To donate services such as bodywork, readings, etc., please contact us to arrange to provide these services at an EWF event, or you may donate a gift certificate.

Any merchandise donated (for the Silent Auction, raffles or other fundraisers) will be the property of Elderflower Womenspirit Festival.  We reserve the right to decide which merchandise will be offered at each fundraising event.

All donations are tax deductible. 

Treasure Table

This is one of our favorites, the annual “yard sale” at the festival itself!  If you have unused or gently used items that are in need of a new home, please consider bringing them with you to the festival, to add to the table full of offerings.  All money raised from the Treasure Table goes to support the Scholarship Fund.  Any “Treasure Table” items not sold are to be reclaimed by the donor at the end of the festival.

Silent Auction, Sales, Raffles

Each annual festival includes a Silent Auction.  Many of the items offered are one-of-a-kind.  The money raised at this auction is used to offset the costs of the festival, as well as supporting the Scholarship Fund.  We also may hold Silent Auctions at Spring Into Elderflower and other EWF sponsored events.

At other events throughout the year, we offer donated merchandise for sale, or as raffle prizes.

Advertising

Business card sized ad space is available in our festival program, we also do “ad trades”.  For details, please email us at info@elderflower.org.

Volunteer

We are a grassroots, all volunteer organization.  The success and growth of the festival is entirely dependent on the efforts of the women who participate.  Please consider donating time to Elderflower Womenspirit.  There are a number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year.  For more information please email or call us.
